Lake Claire arose with a lively, colorful atmosphere on Saturday afternoon as students celebrated Holi, the festival of colors.

For the first time, the Gujarati Student Club and the Indian Student Association teamed up to bring the Holi Festival to life with help from the Multicultural Student Center.

The Moroccan Student Society held a female-only henna night on Friday, celebrating International Women’s Day together.

International Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide to promote women’s achievements and rights. According to the United Nations website, in many countries, it is also considered a national holiday and it has been sponsored by the UN since 1977.

UCF Student Government invited students to experience an array of cultures at the first Cultural Fusion Fest on Sunday in the Pegasus Ballroom.

With 11 performances from cultural organizations and clubs, students were able to enjoy singing, dancing, spoken word and food in a space celebrating cultural diversity and inclusion.

Knights Table Tennis Club hosted its National Collegiate Table Tennis Association Divisional tournament on Saturday at the UCF Recreation and Wellness Center.

The UCF team hosted and competed against teams from UF, USF, FIU, FSU and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical in the Northern Florida Divisional tournament.

The top two finalists would move on to compete in the NCTTA South Regional tournament held in Texas.
